Failure to pay any outstanding balances prior to departure will result in your inability to partake in the trek or tour. Final acceptance of any participant is subject to receipt and review of all the required forms, documents, and payments.
All trip offered by AUSANGATE PERU are subject to itinerary changes based on a variety of circumstances. These include river, road, and weather conditions as well as government policy changes. Any missed trip due to the above-listed incidences cannot be refunded or recuperated.
The price and duration of a trip will never change once you’ve registered. Payments for itinerary changes or public land closures are not refundable. If a trip is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control a trip credit equal to the full amount paid will be issued.

If you cancel or leave a multi-day trip early for any reason:
We require medical releases for prospective guests over 70 years of age and for various circumstances such as the history of cardiovascular disease, chronic illness, and other conditions and factors.
Let your guide know if you are taking any medication or subject to a chronic illness so they can be fully prepared in case of an emergency or accident.
For your protection, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance. Travel insurance provides you with assistance and coverage in the case of trip cancellation, interruption, travel delay, medical expenses, emergency assistance, and baggage delay. Medical coverage purchased with your policy will also satisfy our requirement for health insurance.
Our collection of the most fabulous hiking trails in Peru bring you up close and very personal with the region’s most jaw-dropping highlights: from the snow-peaked Andes to turquoise lakes, waterfalls, and glaciers that seem to hang as if by magic, as well as an abundance of wildlife spotting and a breathtaking, unforgettable adventure in nature.
We did the 2-day tour through Ausangate, the rainbow mountain, and the red valley. The tour was private, the guide Jimmy was very friendly and professional, the whole trip has well organized the food was delicious during the excursion.
I thank the travel agency for this beautiful experience, and I recommend it.
